Responsibilities
- Deliver high-caliber environmental planning, approvals, and management services across a variety of project types.
- Provide strategic environmental guidance during all project stages, including planning, design, approvals, construction, and operations.
- Develop and evaluate environmental assessments, management plans, due diligence reports, constraint analyses, and compliance materials.
- Use a practical, risk-focused method to assess environmental opportunities and limitations.
- Offer technical oversight and peer review to ensure project quality.
- Support cross-functional project teams with expert environmental input.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
- Identify avenues for recurring work and assist in expanding client accounts.
- Prepare project proposals, fee estimates, and responses to tenders.
- Represent the organization in client discussions, industry functions, and networking events.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Australia to pursue new business prospects.
- Lead environmental projects from initiation to successful completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high technical standard.
- Coordinate internal experts and external subcontractors as needed.
- Track project performance and actively manage identified risks.
- Support ongoing improvements in project execution methods.
- Mentor and guide early- and mid-career environmental consultants.
- Share technical expertise and field experience across the team.
- Advance technical proficiency through review, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
- Foster a positive, cooperative, and high-performing team environment.
- Assist with resource planning and staffing for projects as required.
