About the Role
This role involves leading process engineering efforts across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, and adherence to safety and sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of process systems for industrial and infrastructure projects
- Develop process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and mass and energy balances
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design with mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines
- Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and hazard analyses
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Oversee process design reviews and contribute to risk assessment activities
- Prepare technical specifications and bid evaluations for process equipment
- Support procurement and construction activities with process engineering expertise
- Troubleshoot process-related issues during commissioning and operations
- Drive innovation in process design and implementation of best practices
- Manage project deliverables within schedule and budget constraints
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand technical requirements
- Develop and review engineering calculations and design documentation
- Promote sustainable engineering solutions and energy efficiency
- Ensure quality assurance and control in all process engineering outputs
- Participate in front-end engineering and detailed design phases
- Apply industry-standard software for process simulation and modeling
- Lead process safety management initiatives and HAZOP studies
- Provide input to project planning and resource allocation
