Responsibilities
- Define long-term technical direction for core platform systems
- Lead design and implementation of scalable software architecture
- Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align technology with business objectives
- Mentor senior engineers and foster technical excellence across teams
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks
- Ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
- Guide incident response and resolution for critical production issues
- Promote reusability and consistency across engineering projects
- Lead technical onboarding for new team members
- Contribute to roadmap planning with engineering and product stakeholders
- Champion observability, monitoring, and system reliability
- Support cloud infrastructure decisions and optimizations
- Ensure alignment with data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across engineering groups
- Evaluate third-party integrations and vendor solutions
- Improve development tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Represent engineering in executive-level discussions
