Responsibilities
- Produce high-standard electrical designs for infrastructure projects, focusing on high-voltage systems, substations, and distribution networks with emphasis on buildability and operational safety.
- Contribute to the planning and detailed engineering of Zero Emissions Bus infrastructure, helping advance sustainable public transportation solutions.
- Lead high-voltage electrical design efforts, including system integration and coordination with existing networks to ensure seamless transitions and reliable performance.
- Create efficient lighting and high-voltage electrical systems for rail and connected transport projects, balancing performance, safety, and long-term cost effectiveness.
- Apply specialized knowledge of Queensland Rail and broader infrastructure standards to ensure designs meet regulatory, compliance, and quality assurance criteria.
- Address complex technical coordination issues across disciplines such as civil, systems, structures, and stations to achieve cohesive project outcomes.
- Support quality assurance processes including design validation, technical reviews, and compliance documentation to promote accurate and timely delivery.
