Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a unified cloud infrastructure strategy, long-term vision, and technology roadmap in alignment with organizational goals
- Create enterprise-wide architectural standards, reference models, and design patterns for cloud infrastructure deployment
- Lead cross-domain architecture evaluations to ensure technical excellence and proactively address risks
- Define and manage global networking strategies, including VPC design, transit gateway governance, multi-account network layouts, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Set standards for compute and container orchestration platforms such as EC2, ECS, and EKS to support production workloads
- Define and enforce enterprise-level Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitHub
- Design and oversee the implementation of a zero-trust security model and conduct security architecture reviews
- Manage identity and access governance across multi-account AWS and multi-subscription Azure environments
- Establish enterprise-wide security policies covering network protection, secrets management, encryption, and auditing
- Integrate security practices into development pipelines by advancing DevSecOps principles within CI/CD workflows
- Coach and develop cloud architects and senior technical staff to strengthen architectural expertise across teams
- Deliver strategic insights and executive-level updates on cloud infrastructure direction and technical planning
