Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth analysis of intricate claims datasets to detect patterns, irregularities, and meaningful insights that shape legal, regulatory, and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to fully understand request objectives, boundaries, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Adjust communication methods to effectively present findings, opportunities, and achievements to both technical experts and non-technical executives.
  • Design and deliver analytical outputs related to claims, ranging from basic data extractions to statistical reports, predictive indicators, and interactive dashboards using SQL/Snowflake, SAS Viya, Python, and BI platforms.
  • Manage workload priorities to meet deadlines and provide early visibility into potential delays or obstacles.
  • Implement rigorous data quality assurance procedures such as reconciliations, trend evaluations, plausibility checks, and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and defensibility of results.
  • Proactively seek out new analytical opportunities and work with stakeholders to shift from reactive reporting to strategic, forward-looking analytics.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering methodology, definitions, assumptions, limitations, and data provenance to support reproducibility and audit readiness.
  • Enhance team productivity by developing reusable code, templates, and standardized request packages for frequently requested deliverables.
  • Engage with data product and engineering teams to identify recurring high-impact requests suitable for long-term data product development.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies as required, including the responsible use of approved AI tools to streamline workflows within defined guidelines.
  • Participate actively in team routines such as standups, request triage, and prioritization sessions, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and impediments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Support an inclusive work environment by fostering equitable, trusting, and enduring relationships across the team.
