Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure the provision of support to improve quality of life and independence for supported individuals.
- Take a lead role with an assigned caseload.
- Provide leadership and direction to other staff when the assigned Primary Direct Support is unavailable or off shift.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in social services (e.g., DSW/PSW) or enrollment in a related college or university program is preferred, OR related experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- CPR, Emergency First Aid, and NVCI certifications.
- Valid G driver's license required.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting individuals with dual diagnosis, mental health, and addictions is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferable.
