Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run single or multi-color offset printing equipment
- Complete all pre-production setup tasks, including mounting plates or installing cylinders, inspecting plates and cylinders for defects, verifying image alignment, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and registration
- Make color and machine adjustments before and during production to meet quality standards
- Clean, lubricate, and service the press, including performing minor repairs and replacing damaged or worn components
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks as recommended by the equipment manufacturer
