CoverGo is looking for a Pre-sales Business Analyst to support our sales and delivery teams by crafting solutions, proposals, and proof of concepts for our insurance software platform. In this role, you will be the link between client needs and our technical platform, helping insurance companies achieve their digital transformation goals.
What You'll Do
- Attend discovery calls with the sales team to understand, analyze, clarify, and scope client requirements.
- Identify technical solutions based on client business goals and CoverGo platform features.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to prepare effort estimations and best solutions for clients.
- Build and configure insurance products in the CoverGo platform for demos and proof of concepts.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and assist the sales team during client presentations.
- Assist with handover to the delivery team and lead project kick-off meetings after deals are closed.
- Develop customer's staff usage of the platform by providing technical information and training.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in pre-sales or sales activities.
- Strong experience working in the insurance or insurtech industry.
- Exceptional presentation and communications capabilities in both written and verbal English.
- Confidence in presenting to enterprise architects and C-level executives.
- Experience participating in successful projects with cross-functional teams.
- Agile/Scrum framework experience for project planning and release management.
- Ability to understand complex systems and data to surface actionable insights.
- Basic understanding of the technical development cycle of mobile applications, enterprise SAAS, and/or web portals.
- Business analysis skills including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong organizational/time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform/interpret requirement analysis to identify value creation opportunities for clients.
Team & Environment
