Responsibilities
- Deliver engineering, technical, and analytical support for research, development, testing, evaluation, and operational initiatives.
- Use engineering fundamentals and analytical methods to advance computer-aided design, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, modeling and simulation, instrumentation, and system testing.
- Create software tools, analytical frameworks, and data-centric solutions to strengthen operational effectiveness and meet mission objectives.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, modeling, and data visualization to assess system performance and guide technical and operational decisions.
- Assist in designing, executing, and evaluating experiments to verify new technologies, concepts, and emerging capabilities.
- Act as a technical consultant to government partners, offering expertise in engineering, operations, and analysis related to evolving threats such as counter-IED and counter-unmanned aircraft systems.
- Apply DOTMLPF-P frameworks to inform capability planning, requirements definition, and concept development.
- Design and deploy instrumentation and analytical methods to support system assessment, technology advancement, and capability maturation.
- Manage and maintain government knowledge management systems across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS, adhering to security and information governance policies.
- Publish, structure, and update technical reports, operational materials, and mission documentation in authorized government repositories.
- Work with technical writers and stakeholders to apply consistent metadata, tags, keywords, and taxonomies that enhance information accessibility.
- Enforce document versioning and configuration management practices to ensure access to accurate, up-to-date information.
- Structure technical data into organized knowledge bases that promote collaboration, information sharing, and informed decision-making.
- Monitor collaboration platforms, forums, and knowledge networks to promote engagement and facilitate information dissemination.
- Partner with government staff, contractors, allied organizations, and multidisciplinary teams to provide timely, high-quality technical and operational support.
- Produce technical documents, reports, briefings, and presentations that clearly convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure all activities comply with government policies, security protocols, and relevant industry standards.
