Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team committed to outstanding client service and patient care
- Facilitate regular team meetings with clinical leaders to communicate operational updates and implement changes
- Promote a safe, compliant, inclusive, and cooperative workplace culture
- Administer biweekly payroll and track employee time and attendance accurately
- Take accountability for resolving escalated client concerns, involving regional leadership when necessary
- Maintain comprehensive oversight of clinic operations to ensure adherence to facility and brand standards
- Recruit, train, and develop team members while cultivating an inclusive workplace
- Drive employee engagement through regular team events and quarterly outings
- Serve as hiring manager and collaborate with recruitment to fill open roles and maintain staffing levels
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure new hires understand workflows and practice procedures
- Monitor and interpret financial performance using P&L statements and revenue data to identify growth opportunities
- Oversee budget management with focus on profitability, including cost of goods, labor, and inventory
- Analyze key performance indicators on a regular basis and develop strategic business plans
- Partner with the Managing Veterinarian and regional leaders to achieve clinic revenue goals
- Optimize scheduling for appointments, surgeries, and specialists to maximize staff utilization and coverage
- Develop and maintain quarterly schedules for nursing and client experience teams aligned with budget and revenue forecasts
- Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams to roll out and enforce new initiatives and processes
- Manage inventory ordering and supply levels for medical, retail, and office materials
- Promote effective de-escalation strategies and guide staff in managing challenging situations
- Ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences by maintaining efficient operations and a welcoming atmosphere
- Track and respond to client feedback from NPS, reviews, and direct interactions, escalating trends and supporting improvements
- Be available one weekend day per quarter and on-call one weekend per month for urgent managerial needs
