About the Role
This role supports the development and execution of PR and social media strategies by contributing to content creation, media outreach, and campaign tracking. The intern will gain hands-on experience in brand storytelling and digital engagement while working cross-functionally to promote key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting press releases and media pitches
- Monitor social media platforms for brand mentions and trends
- Support the creation of digital content including captions and visuals
- Track and summarize media coverage and campaign performance
- Engage with online communities and respond to inquiries
- Research journalists, influencers, and media outlets
- Help maintain media contact databases
- Contribute ideas for social media campaigns
- Update and organize digital asset libraries
- Summarize industry news and competitive activity
- Assist in coordinating public relations events
- Draft internal communications materials
- Support influencer outreach and relationship tracking
- Monitor analytics to evaluate content effectiveness
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for brand messaging
- Help prepare media kits and presentation materials
- Track key performance indicators for PR and social efforts
- Ensure brand consistency across communication channels
- Assist with crisis communication monitoring
- Compile reports on campaign reach and engagement
- Support content scheduling using social media tools
- Collaborate with team members on cross-channel messaging
- Proofread and edit communication materials
