Responsibilities
- Evaluate and distribute transmission capacity for electricity exchanges across European national grids.
- Continuously assess power network conditions to identify and address potential threats such as overloads or instability.
- Coordinate with transmission system operators to execute emergency responses including network reconfiguration and generation redispatch.
- Use advanced software for power system analysis, including contingency evaluation and load flow simulations.
- Conduct post-event reviews of significant grid disturbances to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate on long-term energy initiatives involving inter-operator coordination, network development, and security assessments.
- Support modernization efforts through involvement in automation, artificial intelligence for grid prediction, and data analytics projects.
- Represent the organization in European technical forums focused on grid security, capacity allocation methods, and future energy system developments.
