Arista Networks is hiring a Power Supply Development Engineer

Who You’ll Work With As an Arista Power System Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best engineering and technical leaders in the industry, driving the design and implementation of multi-kW AC/DC and DC/DC chassis power systems. What You’ll Do - Define, develop, source, and qualify OEM power supplies to meet product and market requirements as part of the project team. - Spend time hands-on in the lab characterizing new power supplies. - Design and support dual grid and redundant AC or DC power systems. - Apply strong analog and power circuit design knowledge to system qualification. - Write clear and effective technical reports and communicate technical issues to a broad range of audiences including power teams, software engineers, and non-technical stakeholders. - Monitor OEM vendor performance during power supply development. - Collaborate with vendor engineering teams abroad and lead projects from concept through production. - Participate in defining next-generation systems; innovate and propose improvements to existing designs. - Work closely with mechanical and compliance teams to ensure power distribution systems meet all national and international regulatory standards. - Consult with system and diagnostic engineers on best testing practices for compliance. - Travel internationally as required.
