Repwest Insurance (a part of U-Haul family of companies) is hiring a Portable Storage Warehouse Worker

U-Haul Holding Company is seeking a Portable Storage Warehouse Worker to join our U-Box team. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing friendly and courteous service while managing the logistics of our portable storage containers. This position is based at our Charlotte, North Carolina location.

What You'll Do

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift, with training provided.
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery of containers.
• Provide customer assistance, including the sale of support items and the use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure that the warehouse storage facility is clean, dry, and secure.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Adherence to all local state (provincial) and federal vehicular regulations while driving.
