About the Role

The selected candidate will diagnose and treat a range of foot and ankle conditions, perform clinical assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient medical histories and current symptoms
  • Diagnose foot and lower limb conditions
  • Perform routine and surgical podiatric procedures
  • Prescribe orthotics and supportive footwear
  • Manage diabetic foot care and wound treatment
  • Educate patients on foot health and hygiene
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans
  • Participate in ongoing clinical training

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
  • Valid state license to practice podiatry
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Experience in clinical podiatry settings
  • Knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy
  • Proficiency in diagnostic imaging interpretation
  • Strong patient communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with electronic health records
  • Commitment to continuing education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques
  • Additional certification in wound care
  • Training in biomechanics or gait analysis
