Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for a round-the-clock plumbing division.
- Split time between office management and field visits, with 70% of time spent in-office and 30% on-site.
- Coordinate scheduling to optimize technician deployment and response times.
- Utilize Service Titan or comparable software for workflow tracking, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor plumbing technicians and administrative support staff.
- Design and deliver training programs focused on technical expertise and customer interaction skills.
- Establish performance targets and conduct regular reviews, including analysis of KPIs and gross profit metrics.
- Foster a safe, positive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across all interactions.
- Address escalated customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution and follow-up.
- Supervise service jobs, track progress, and monitor customer satisfaction indicators.
- Prepare, present, and close plumbing service estimates with clients.
- Assist both office personnel and field technicians in identifying upsell opportunities and accurate quoting.
- Track financial performance of the department and identify areas for improvement and expansion.
- Review completed service documentation, including job notes and technician reports.
- Conduct regular departmental audits and ensure adherence to internal policies and standards.
- Partner with senior leadership to refine operations and support financial objectives.
