Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to plan system layouts for plumbing, drainage, and water distribution
- Cut, join, and install piping systems while coordinating with existing building elements like electrical circuits
- Set up and service potable water delivery systems
- Diagnose and fix problems in water supply lines, including leaks and pressure issues
- Fix or replace damaged drain pipes, blocked sewers, and malfunctioning fixtures such as taps
- Troubleshoot and repair household appliances and plumbing fixtures, including dishwashers and basins
- Install and service heating systems for liquids and gases, including HVAC components and heating units
- Construct and maintain waste and vent systems ensuring proper DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) functionality
