Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and operate on-premise Kubernetes clusters, preferably with OpenShift and OpenShift AI (RedHat, UBI)
- Design and implement platform architectures for streaming and batch workloads
- Introduce and manage tooling stacks including Quay and Artifactory
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and Jenkins, following GitOps principles
- Containerize platform and application components
- Deploy monitoring and logging solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
- Enforce security and vulnerability management across containers, Python environments, and IDEs
- Support and enable data science and development teams through platform guidance
- Contribute to AI projects by provisioning, operating, and stabilizing platforms
- Ensure alignment with enterprise, client, and compliance requirements including policies and the AI Act
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift, preferably with OpenShift AI
- Proven experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and container technologies
- Architectural knowledge in designing scalable data and AI platforms
- Fluent in both German and English
