Responsibilities
- Help develop and enhance cloud infrastructure covering compute, storage, networking, identity management, and security measures.
- Create and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines for a codebase using both TypeScript and Python.
- Maintain and optimize primary data storage systems, including relational and graph databases.
- Design and deploy data workflows that transport, process, and verify data throughout the platform.
- Implement monitoring solutions such as structured logs, distributed tracing, and alert systems.
- Assist in strengthening the security and compliance standards across all services.
- Develop internal tools to accelerate and secure software development cycles.
- Support the deployment and scaling of experimental workloads, including GPU-intensive model training.
Requirements
- Proven practical experience with a leading cloud platform, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Production-level experience managing PostgreSQL databases.
- Skilled in designing CI/CD systems and managing deployments across multiple environments.
- Ability to work effectively across TypeScript and Python codebases.
- Commitment to security as a foundational principle in system design.
Nice to Have
- Background in working with graph database technologies.
- Knowledge of tools used for building and managing data pipelines.
- Experience deploying and managing GPU-powered workloads in the cloud.
- Exposure to geospatial data or specialized domain formats.
