Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall architecture of distributed systems
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance under high load
- Lead technical decisions for infrastructure and deployment strategies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure system designs
- Evaluate and integrate emerging blockchain technologies
- Establish best practices for code quality and system maintainability
- Guide incident response and system recovery procedures
- Oversee API design and integration across services
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Ensure compliance with security standards and cryptographic protocols
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
- Design fault-tolerant systems for high availability
- Manage technical debt and long-term architectural evolution
- Mentor engineers on architectural principles and patterns
- Coordinate with product teams to align technical capabilities with business goals
- Develop documentation for system architecture and design decisions
- Implement observability and monitoring frameworks
- Enforce consistency across microservices and backend systems
- Assess third-party tools and services for platform integration
- Drive adoption of automation in deployment and operations
