Pratt & Whitney, an RTX Corporation business, is hiring a Ping Engineer to join the Identity & Access Management team. In this remote role, you will support Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, provide engineering for key tools like PingFederate and PingAccess, and collaborate on integrating applications into our secure identity infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Provide engineering support for SSO tools including PingFederate, PingAccess, and EntraID.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate applications with our SSO solutions.
- Assist with troubleshooting user issues related to SSO integrations.
- Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and assist with creating test scripts.
- Work with the team to resolve technical and non-technical problems.
- Participate in production support for any incidents.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues, providing recommendations on potential fixes.
- Follow precise processes and procedures to ensure compliance with RTX security policies and government requirements.
What We're Looking For
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Strong working knowledge of authentication protocols: OAuth/OIDC, SAML, WS fed.
- Minimum 3 years of significant application integration experience with PingFederate and PingAccess.
- Prior experience integrating SSO products in complex environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with SiteMinder, EntraID, OKTA, Azure (federation), ADFS, LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, and Linux.
- Experience with scripts and OGNL expressions.
- Superb planning and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast-moving environment.
