Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants in compliance with state-specific regulations.
- Deliver remote clinical services via phone, video, and secure messaging in accordance with organizational medical standards.
- Work collaboratively with medical assistants, registered nurses, and other healthcare providers across care functions.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in clinical practice.
- Perform additional assigned clinical or administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
- Must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Full, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee and Georgia is mandatory.
- Must also hold full licensure in at least two of the following states: Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, or Texas.
- Must currently hold an active IMLCC license or be eligible to apply.
- Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states with organizational support and vendor coordination.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in outpatient internal or family medicine settings.
Nice to Have
- At least two years of professional experience in telemedicine.
- Possession of active medical licenses in Missouri, Alabama, and Mississippi.
- Prior experience providing regulatory oversight for nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Compensation
Base salary range is $216,406 - $284,032 per year. Additional benefits include up to 18 days of annual vacation, performance bonuses, and comprehensive employee benefits.
