About the Role
The individual in this role will serve as a bridge between the organization and external medical professionals, fostering partnerships, facilitating referrals, and ensuring alignment in patient care standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and medical staff
- Serve as a primary contact for provider inquiries and collaboration
- Support timely patient referral processes
- Educate healthcare providers about services and care protocols
- Coordinate communication between clinical teams and external partners
- Attend medical meetings and professional events to represent the organization
- Monitor referral trends and provide feedback to internal teams
- Assist in identifying opportunities for service expansion
- Ensure accurate dissemination of clinical program updates
- Promote high standards of patient care through provider engagement
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams on initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical offerings and specialties
- Track interactions and outcomes using relationship management tools
- Support quality improvement efforts through provider feedback
- Facilitate smooth transitions for patient admissions
- Act as a resource for community healthcare networks
- Participate in training for clinical staff on referral processes
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Respond to provider needs in a timely and professional manner
- Contribute to reports on liaison activities and outcomes
