Comprehensive Rehab Consultants is hiring a Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Conduct physical examinations and evaluate patient health.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Perform procedures, such as suturing, casting, and administering injections.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage as required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
  • Provide support and mentorship to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and educational sessions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of medical advancements and best practices in rehabilitation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or healthcare team.
  • Provide care to patients with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular issues.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers, such as physical therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and protocols.
  • Provide care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and home health visits.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient education programs and materials.
  • Provide care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical research projects and studies.
  • Provide care to patients with complex medical conditions and co-morbidities.
