Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services and web applications using PHP (Symfony framework) and other MVC-compliant frameworks
- Perform technical analysis, design, testing, documentation, and construction tasks in the context of development and maintenance works on back-end services, reusable building blocks and front-end Web applications compliant with the W3C standards
- Commit to develop with method and apply a thorough approach to development and testing
- Contribute to the evolution of the technical architecture currently in use at the Legal Service
Requirements
- University degree in IT or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and specifically Symfony
- Proven experience in developing standard Web-based software using an MVC-compliant framework based on a scripting language (e.g. JavaScript (Angular) or Nodejs), preferably in the context of service-oriented architecture
- Proven experience with the range of Web technologies used for data and middle-tier layers
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, Angular and Bootstrap
- Experience with XML or JSON/REST for handling flows of data
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jira, Git and Bamboo
- Excellent command of the English language
Nice to Have
- Experience with AngularJS would be considered as a strong asset
- Experience with text-mining operations would be considered as an asset
