Gray Media / Gray Television, Inc. is hiring a Photographer/Editor for a new daily show, The Good Side. You will be a creative visual storyteller responsible for producing inspiring content that uplifts viewers. You'll join the DC Bureau team covering live breaking news, politics, investigations, and features for Gray TV’s 113 markets.
What You'll Do
- Shoot video interviews in the field and studio.
- Edit daily shows using Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects.
- Light multi-camera interviews in both studio and field settings.
- Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media to enhance stories.
- Operate studio and field production equipment.
- Collaborate with management in the development of content.
- Perform other duties as needed and directed.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to shoot and edit video content.
- Excellent knowledge of non-linear editing using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of field and studio lighting techniques.
- Knowledge of TVU and LiveLink technology.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
