Responsibilities
- Evaluate and record vital signs of donors to confirm eligibility.
- Conduct blood collection procedures following established policies and safety protocols.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and provide pre- and post-donation care as required.
- Help set up community blood drives, including safely loading and unloading mobile units.
- Carry out cleaning duties, including sanitizing equipment.
- Verify the accuracy, acceptability, and completeness of documentation to avoid loss of blood units.
- Attend and engage in staff meetings and training sessions.

On-site — Twin Cities, St. Paul
Other
- Schedule: Variable schedule. Monday - Friday with rotating weekends. Hours between 6am - 8:30pm.
- Location: To support area blood drives and donor centers around the Twin Cities (training at the St. Paul center).
- Local travel required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work assignments.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Full hand use and depth perception needed.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
