Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth research on future satellite-to-vehicle communication solutions leveraging innovative 6G networks.
- Design and implement advanced algorithms for handover mechanisms between terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks to ensure continuous and reliable vehicle connectivity.
- Build meaningful simulations or implement prototypes to validate concepts and demonstrate feasibility.
- Actively contribute research findings to ongoing 3GPP studies and working groups, aiming to file patents and integrate contributions into future releases.
- Collaborate closely with universities and partner companies as part of the publicly funded project '6G-Coverage' and network with leading experts.
- Work with the supervising professor, publish scientific articles, present findings at international specialist conferences, and write a dissertation.
