More Staffing LLC is hiring a Perfumer to join our product development team. In this role, you will blend nature, science, and creativity to craft beautiful, emotionally resonant scents for fine fragrances, cosmetics, home care, and wellness products.
What You'll Do
- Create and develop new fragrance compositions aligned with product briefs and brand identity.
- Match, adapt, or reformulate existing fragrances for new product lines or regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sourcing, and packaging teams to bring scent concepts to life.
- Select high-quality raw materials and essential oils for custom blends.
- Test fragrances for stability, compatibility, and performance in various product bases.
- Stay updated on fragrance trends, raw materials, and IFRA/global regulatory changes.
- Maintain documentation for formulas, raw material safety, and testing records.
- Participate in sensory evaluations and customer feedback reviews.
- Support production scale-up and troubleshoot scent-related issues.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a perfumer or fragrance developer (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Strong olfactory sense and deep understanding of aromatic ingredients, essential oils, and fragrance families.
- Familiarity with IFRA guidelines, allergen declarations, and fragrance regulations.
- Skilled in using fragrance compounding tools and lab equipment.
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance artistic vision with technical feasibility and cost parameters.
Nice to Have
- Background in chemistry, cosmetic science, aromatherapy, or a related field.
- Experience working in natural or clean beauty, aromatherapy, or wellness-focused brands.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly fragrance sourcing.
- Understanding of customer scent preferences in DTC, luxury, or wellness markets.
