About the Role
This role leads the administration and oversight of time and attendance systems, ensuring accurate data flows into payroll processing while supporting operational efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of time and attendance systems across multiple sites
- Ensure accurate collection and processing of employee time data
- Collaborate with payroll teams to resolve discrepancies in time reporting
- Maintain system configurations for timekeeping devices and software
- Support implementation and upgrades of time and attendance technology
- Monitor data integrity between time systems and payroll platforms
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to employee time entry
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for timekeeping processes
- Train HR and payroll staff on time and attendance system usage
- Assist in audits related to labor compliance and payroll accuracy
- Enforce company policies regarding time recording and attendance
- Generate reports on timekeeping trends and system performance
- Work with IT teams to integrate time systems with HR platforms
- Ensure compliance with labor laws affecting time tracking
- Support payroll close activities with timely data validation
- Manage user access and security settings within time systems
- Coordinate with site leaders to address local timekeeping challenges
- Track and resolve employee time-related inquiries
- Maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
- Lead testing for system patches and updates
- Evaluate new features or tools to improve timekeeping accuracy
- Provide input on vendor selection for time and attendance solutions
