Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead and oversee payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries. In this remote role based in the UK, you will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing while partnering with internal teams and external providers.
What You'll Do
- Manage payroll activities across designated EMEA countries, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Lead data input, updates, and changes within payroll systems while maintaining compliance with legal, tax, and audit requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records for payroll, taxes, and audits.
- Collaborate with HR, accounting, and external payroll providers to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Support employee onboarding by setting up payroll accounts and serve as a key contact for payroll-related inquiries.
- Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a multinational payroll environment, with proven expertise in payroll operations.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and related reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to change and manage competing demands.
- Demonstrated integrity, dependability, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, global environment.
Nice to Have
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems; experience with Workday, Safeguard, TMF Horizon, or Abacus is a plus.
- Additional European languages are an advantage.
