About the Role
The role involves managing payroll operations with precision and compliance, supporting colleagues and stakeholders by delivering timely and accurate payroll results, and contributing to process enhancements within a dynamic international environment.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for employees in Denmark and other assigned regions
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and labor regulations
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to verify payroll data
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation changes
- Support year-end payroll reporting and filings
- Assist with audits by providing accurate payroll records
- Reconcile payroll data with accounting systems
- Manage time-off accruals and wage adjustments
- Handle statutory payments including sick leave and parental benefits
- Coordinate with external payroll providers when necessary
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in all payroll activities
- Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing
- Generate recurring and ad hoc payroll reports
- Support onboarding and offboarding related to payroll setup
- Monitor payroll processing timelines and meet deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in special projects related to payroll transformation
- Train team members on payroll procedures and updates
- Maintain documentation for payroll policies and workflows
