About the Role

The role involves managing payroll operations with precision and compliance, supporting colleagues and stakeholders by delivering timely and accurate payroll results, and contributing to process enhancements within a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for employees in Denmark and other assigned regions
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and labor regulations
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to verify payroll data
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation changes
  • Support year-end payroll reporting and filings
  • Assist with audits by providing accurate payroll records
  • Reconcile payroll data with accounting systems
  • Manage time-off accruals and wage adjustments
  • Handle statutory payments including sick leave and parental benefits
  • Coordinate with external payroll providers when necessary
  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in all payroll activities
  • Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc payroll reports
  • Support onboarding and offboarding related to payroll setup
  • Monitor payroll processing timelines and meet deadlines
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist in special projects related to payroll transformation
  • Train team members on payroll procedures and updates
  • Maintain documentation for payroll policies and workflows
