About the Role
This role is responsible for shaping the pricing strategy and operational framework of a payments platform, driving profitability, scalability, and regulatory adherence while collaborating with key internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement pricing models for payment processing services
- Analyze transaction data to assess pricing effectiveness and margin performance
- Collaborate with finance to forecast revenue and evaluate pricing scenarios
- Ensure pricing strategies align with product positioning and market competitiveness
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting payment operations and pricing
- Lead operational processes to support onboarding, billing, and reporting
- Partner with product teams to integrate pricing into feature development
- Identify opportunities to streamline payment operations and reduce costs
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, legal, and compliance
- Develop dashboards and metrics to track pricing performance and operational KPIs
- Support go-to-market initiatives with pricing documentation and training
- Evaluate competitive offerings to inform pricing adjustments
- Maintain compliance with card network rules and financial regulations
- Drive process improvements for scalability and accuracy
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve operational issues
- Assess impact of interchange changes on pricing structure
- Coordinate with engineering on system requirements for pricing implementation
- Ensure accurate customer billing and transparent pricing communication
- Manage pricing exceptions and special arrangements
- Contribute to long-term strategy for payments business growth
