The Patient Affairs Manager at GSK will lead patient support programs and partnerships to improve care for people in Taiwan. This role involves close collaboration with medical, commercial, pharmacovigilance, legal teams, and patient groups, emphasizing empathy, clear communication, strong governance, and practical problem solving.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement and manage patient support programs and patient advocacy group activities in Taiwan.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with patient advocacy groups, healthcare providers and vendors.
- Ensure programs meet medical governance, safety reporting and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract execution, performance monitoring and corrective actions.
- Track program metrics, manage budgets and report outcomes and risks to stakeholders.
- Train and advise internal colleagues on appropriate engagement with patients and patient groups.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, public health, social sciences or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in patient support programs, patient engagement or healthcare project management.
- Experience working with patient advocacy groups or community organisations.
- Knowledge of Taiwan healthcare system and relevant local regulations.
- Proven skills in project coordination, stakeholder management and budget monitoring.
- Fluent in Mandarin and competent in English for internal collaboration and reporting.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in public health, clinical sciences or related discipline.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical affairs functions.
- Familiarity with pharmacovigilance and safety reporting requirements.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects within a matrix organisation.
- Ability to analyse program data and drive process improvement.
- Comfortable using digital tools for patient engagement and program monitoring.

Work Mode
Hybrid role based in Taiwan with regular travel required. Split time between office, field and remote work.
