About the Role
You will act as the main technical contact for partners, supporting them throughout the integration lifecycle—from initial architecture planning to final deployment on the Datadog Marketplace. This position blends advanced technical problem-solving with strategic consulting and advocacy on the Integration Developer Platform.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for partners, providing guidance on authentication protocols, data ingestion pipelines, observability instrumentation, and integration methods using agents or APIs.
- Conduct technical evaluations and detailed code inspections for partner-developed integrations in public repositories, verifying compliance with established quality standards.
- Address advanced technical issues raised by partners through support channels including ticketing systems, real-time messaging, and direct technical sessions.
- Detect usability challenges within the Integration Developer Platform and collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to improve developer workflows.
- Keep developer documentation and internal tracking systems up to date to ensure clarity, accountability, and scalability across partner engagements.

The Technical Solutions team functions as the internal authority on product capabilities and integration best practices. As Partner Technology Solutions Engineers, we support global expansion by onboarding third-party developers and ensuring integrations are robust, secure, and deliver measurable value. Engineers in this role serve as technical liaisons, offering consultation to help partners build high-quality monitoring solutions on the platform.

The Technical Solutions team enables Datadog’s worldwide growth by educating potential partners and ensuring that our integration ecosystem is high-performing, secure, and valuable. Partner Technology Solutions Engineers (TSEs) are the technical bridge between Datadog and our third-party developer community. We act as consultants, helping partners build world-class monitoring solutions on the Integration Developer Platform (IDP).

Datadog is looking for a Partner Technology Solutions Engineer to join our fast-paced team. You will be the primary technical contact for our partners, guiding them through the entire integration lifecycle—from initial architectural design to final publication on the Datadog Marketplace. This is a unique role that combines deep technical troubleshooting with high-level consulting and platform advocacy. You will work directly with external developers and see your contributions immediately reflected in the Datadog ecosystem.
