As a Participant Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless experience for clinical trial participants. You'll manage participant interactions from screening through follow-up, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with study protocols. Using platforms like Citrus and other digital tools, you'll maintain detailed records and support the integrity of trial data.
What You'll Do
- Lead participant-facing activities, including scheduling, onboarding, and follow-up communications to support retention and engagement
- Coordinate in-person trial components such as MRI visits, ensuring procedures align with protocol requirements
- Update and manage participant tracking systems and essential documentation, including the Investigator Site File
- Respond promptly to data queries from clinical research organizations and assist the Principal Investigator with day-to-day trial execution
- Report adverse and serious adverse events according to protocol guidelines
- Escalate operational, safety, or data quality concerns to the Trial Lead or CRO team as needed
- Share participant insights with the team to help refine processes and improve trial flow
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations colleagues to keep trial status visible and ensure alignment across coordinators
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient recruitment, screening, and follow-up within clinical research settings
- Familiarity with maintaining tracking systems and adhering to strict procedural timelines
- Strong initiative and adaptability, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Dedication to improving healthcare innovation and advancing new treatment development
- Willingness to engage deeply with the operations of a growing, mission-focused startup
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital tools such as Calendly, Docusign, Medi2data, Dial Pad, Florence, or Sealed Envelope
