Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Complete minor repairs on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
- Respond promptly to guest service requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal disruption.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Monitor and maintain pool, fitness, and laundry equipment in compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Assist in maintaining fire safety systems, alarms, and emergency procedures.
- Track and log completed maintenance tasks, parts used, and report any recurring issues to management.
- Work collaboratively with hotel team members to support overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Technical training or certification a plus.
- Prior maintenance experience in hotels, commercial buildings, or facilities preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
