Responsibilities
- Follow environmental, health, and safety protocols to promote a safe and proactive workplace culture.
- Use company-approved tools to prevent contamination during the packaging process.
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks on finishing production lines.
- Complete line clearance procedures for lot and list changes, including blowing down equipment on one to two value streams.
- Support setup activities for automated machinery in primary or secondary packaging areas across one to two value streams.
- Operate and maintain automated and semi-automated production systems to manufacture finished goods, completing assigned duties with limited oversight.
- Perform quality-critical actions during production, such as running challenges, monitoring parameters, collecting samples, conducting in-process inspections, and tracking material usage.
- Maintain 6S standards for parts and tooling throughout the manufacturing floor.
- Promptly escalate complex safety, quality, technical, or operational issues to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify and advance process improvements.
- Align work with production scheduling and understand line priorities while functioning independently.
- Diagnose and resolve minor equipment issues and make small adjustments to enhance machine performance.
