Responsibilities
- Supports and upholds the organization's core values and mission
- Maintains consistent, on-time attendance
- Follows applicable Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Laboratory Practice standards across all assigned duties
- Completes standard laboratory procedures to build familiarity with analytical methods and protocols
- Prepares specimens using established laboratory techniques
- Executes chemical testing using routine methodologies
- Performs calculations on collected data
- Documents and communicates results and any anomalies to supervising personnel
- Carries out regular maintenance on laboratory instruments
- Maintains cleanliness and order in assigned workspaces
- Trains to operate advanced analytical equipment such as gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, inductively coupled plasma, and associated data software
- Works under direct supervision, applying standard and repetitive testing methods
- Measures and divides samples for analysis
- Cleans and prepares laboratory glassware
- Executes all tasks following safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Completes additional assignments as directed by management
