Responsibilities
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBS and related technologies
- Driving resolution of production support issues predominantly in Order to Cash
- Regularly ensuring good health of production systems and data integrity with upstream/downstream systems
- Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution and anticipates and prevents problems before they occur.
- Debug complex issues and present their impact along with recommended solution to users and management
- Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
- Be integral member in signing off the design and solution developed by development teams before accepting the change in Production
- Supporting key business processes/activities including but not limited to Month end and Yearend support activities to Business users
- Utilizing past experience to implement innovative approaches to help improve business processes and system performance
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Improve the enterprise systems by leveraging existing solutions when building new technology
- Collaborate with non ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of techno functional experience in Oracle Applications including exposure on tools like PL/SQL, Data Loader, Forms, Reports, Workflow, SOA Web services, WebADI
- Strong hands on functional knowledge of Oracle Applications (R12) and good knowledge of financials concepts
- Must be having prior experience in Production Support of Oracle EBS R12 environment in distributed environment
- Excellent exposure of Oracle Applications predominantly in Order to Cash
- Hands on Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Architecture and technical aspects of Oracle Applications
- Highly self-motivated, detail oriented and committed individual with an ability to take up initiatives and execute tasks with full ownership and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction.
- Good functional knowledge of different modules of Oracle Apps including but not limited to Trade Management, OM, AR, GL, AP, PO, IBY, CE, FA and understanding of data flow across modules and related technologies
- Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones
- Should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills (ability to extract, summarize & synthesize facts and suggest the best possible solution) and be a Self-Starter
- Triaging and analyzing application, data and upstream/downstream integration issues and Monitor Alert notifications and System logs and take appropriate action
- Excellent communications skills (Written and verbal) and should be able to independently engage with business stakeholders throughout the ticket lifecycle
- Accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals
- Ability to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously
