About the Role
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle e-Business Suite applications, ensuring they meet business requirements for reliability, scalability, and usability, while supporting integration with other systems and delivering future enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy Oracle e-Business Suite applications, including customization and integration with external systems, while providing long-term support and improvement.
- Ensure Oracle e-Business Suite applications evolve to meet changing business needs and adhere to standards for performance, scalability, uptime, and user experience.
- Collaborate with team members to define scope, design, code, test, deploy, and enhance Oracle-based solutions as needed.
- Create modular development utilities to promote consistency and increase development efficiency.
- Partner with functional analysts to collect business needs and convert them into technical specifications.
- Write and test application code for production support tasks, system upgrades, and new projects.
- Work with business stakeholders, systems analysts, and developers to transform business needs into component-driven technical designs.
- Meet defined service level targets for responding to and resolving production issues.
- Independently or collaboratively build technical solutions that fulfill specified requirements, including extensions, views, custom logic, reports, and workflow components.
- Adhere to established practices for documentation, software development lifecycle, version control, testing, and deployment processes.
- Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages sharing of technical knowledge and best practices.
- Offer technical mentorship and guidance to peers in areas of specialization.
- Demonstrate initiative and openness in learning new aspects of the application environment and ecosystem.
- Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements based on industry standards, and engage in requirement analysis to confirm business goals are achieved.
