Responsibilities
- Review digital communications to identify potential threats or policy violations
- Assess safety risks based on established protocols and escalation procedures
- Document findings accurately and maintain detailed case records
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent decision-making
- Respond promptly to high-priority safety alerts
- Apply empathy and cultural awareness when evaluating sensitive content
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all reviewed information
- Follow legal and regulatory guidelines related to student privacy
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on safety trends
- Contribute to improvements in operational workflows and tools
- Support consistency in policy application across cases
- Work within defined service level expectations for case resolution
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
- Adapt to evolving safety challenges in digital environments
- Use judgment to distinguish between benign and potentially harmful content
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in trust and safety operations
- Background in counseling, social work, or behavioral intervention
