Act as the main point of contact between the Operations team and the Finance department, strengthening business partnerships and tracking key performance indicators and targets.
Work with plant managers and operations leaders to identify and monitor cost-saving opportunities.
Deliver actionable financial insights and data to business leaders for strategic decision-making.
Monitor and report on major cost drivers including labor, materials, overhead, and logistics.
Participate significantly in operations planning and financial forecasting and budgeting.
Support capital investment decisions and evaluate return on investment for major projects.
Take initiative to perform monthly analyses of direct and indirect costs, material usage variances, labor, and production mix.
Analyze production data and operational metrics to ensure efficiency and financial health.
Support digital transformation efforts by expanding the use of tools such as Power BI, OneStream, Hyperion, and SAP.
Collaborate with IT to enhance data integrity.

Bachelor's degree required, with emphasis in finance or accounting
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and take quick action to satisfy them
Experience collaborating and working successfully with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated strength in handling competing priorities
In-depth understanding of income statement analysis
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), SAP, and HFM or Essbase
High initiative and self-starter attitude
Able to manage tight timelines and deadlines

An interest in utilizing AI tools such as Co-Pilot or Claude to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
