About the Role
The Operations Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting corporate IT systems, ensuring operational efficiency, security compliance, and seamless technology integration across internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain internal IT infrastructure for stability and performance
- Support deployment and configuration of hardware and software systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues across desktop, network, and cloud environments
- Implement and enforce security policies and access controls
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity systems
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employee technology access
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Respond to service tickets and resolve support requests promptly
- Collaborate with teams to improve IT service delivery
- Participate in system upgrades and technology lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards
- Support backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Administer endpoint management and device security tools
- Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and manage contracts
- Evaluate new technologies for potential integration into existing systems
- Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews
- Assist in maintaining network and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Deploy and manage mobile device configurations
- Support video conferencing and collaboration tools
- Coordinate with security teams to address vulnerabilities
- Provide input on IT budget planning and resource needs
- Ensure software licensing compliance across departments
- Assist in data center operations and server maintenance
- Promote best practices for IT operations and user education
- Respond to after-hours incidents as part of on-call rotation
