Responsibilities
- Select and package items for customer delivery
- Receive and unpack vendor pallets, verify physical inventory matches purchase orders or invoices, and address any discrepancies
- Oversee inventory and restock canceled orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and entire facility
- Control waste and spoilage by strictly following FIFO procedures
- Contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items
- Handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner
- Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
- Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products
- Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol
- Work in freezer areas periodically throughout shifts
- Walk several flights of stairs periodically during the day
- Prepare quality beverages and food menu items for customers by adhering to all recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food and beverages packaged for delivery are accurate
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Receive and put away orders or invoices, and resolve discrepancies when they do not meet expiration requirements
- Maintain kitchen facility organization and standards to ensure resource accessibility while managing waste and spoilage through careful pouring and food preparation
- Prepare, package, and stage or hand off orders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and be available during peak shifts (first, second, and third shifts)
- General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
