Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying and maintaining the enterprise risk management system, including risk and control self-assessments and independent monitoring functions
- Collaborate with product and feature teams, especially in financial services and investment areas, to integrate sound risk methodologies from inception
- Oversee and respond to operational risk incidents, working cross-functionally to resolve issues and strengthen controls
- Perform detailed evaluations of business units, their technology use, compliance posture, and report findings on operational risk to governance bodies
- Evaluate proposed changes to operational workflows and assess their impact on the overall risk landscape
- Examine operational risk metrics, including loss events, external threats, and incident trends, to generate actionable insights
- Champion a robust risk-aware culture by making risk concepts accessible and relevant to all employees
- Disseminate clear, practical risk guidance and industry best practices across the organization
