The Onboarding / Sales V.A. is responsible for welcoming new customers via Zoom calls shortly after their initial purchase, building rapport, verifying details, uncovering motivations and challenges, and potentially upselling a premium add-on. This role blends empathetic coaching with sales in a fast-growing longevity and health startup environment, serving as the first impression for customers over 45 seeking to feel strong, healthy, and happy.
What You'll Do
- Welcome new customers via 20-30 minute Zoom calls shortly after initial program purchase
- Follow a proven onboarding script while adapting empathetically to each customer's unique story
- Build deep rapport through active listening, probing questions, and personalization
- Verify essential customer information
- Clarify the customer's 'why'—why now, desired outcomes, and past attempts
- Share proven success stories and data
- Potentially upsell a premium add-on framed as a 'fast-track' upgrade using tailored metaphors
- Manage pipeline of calls and track metrics in CRM
- Ensure seamless follow-up for upgrades and satisfaction
- Collaborate with the team to refine processes based on trends such as recurring themes in energy levels or wellness barriers
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience as a psychologist, therapist, teacher, sales professional, coaching, wellness, or client service
- Exceptional empathetic communication—warm, solutions-oriented, and adaptive over Zoom/phone
- Proficiency with Zoom, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), and basic admin tasks
- Self-sufficient time management in a remote setup
- High work ethic (Monday-Saturday)
- Adhere to proven processes while personalizing for impact
- Train daily with your coach
- Manage your customer list and follow up diligently
- Be a team player committed to client wins
