Responsibilities
- Help enhance and maintain the bundle management system used to resolve dependencies, build mission-specific software configurations, and support the deployment of multiple satellite programs
- Improve and secure the onboard Linux environment, including service deployment on the root filesystem, execution supervision, and ensuring stable, fault-tolerant operation in space
- Advance the container runtime platform, including container orchestration, base images, and registry services, to safely host third-party applications on spacecraft
- Support the expansion of the deployment pipeline as new hardware platforms are integrated and satellite program volume increases
- Assist in product validation efforts, ensuring software meets operational standards before being sent to orbit
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of software features with end-to-end ownership
- Engage in peer code reviews, evaluate technical designs, and help refine engineering workflows
