The OCM System Engineer will join the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team to support digital transformation by designing and managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud systems. This role focuses on delivering marketing automation solutions that enhance patient and community engagement through scalable, integrated technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, with a focus on Journey Builder functionality
- Collaborate with stakeholders to convert marketing needs into technical implementations
- Deploy and scale international omnichannel marketing campaigns
- Build and manage multi-channel customer journeys, audience segmentation, and campaign execution
- Integrate Marketing Cloud with platforms such as Mulesoft, Palantir Foundry, and Veeva CRM
- Contribute to architectural planning for data flows and marketing automation systems
- Optimize Journey designs and develop custom API integrations
- Monitor Salesforce product roadmaps, especially updates to Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Marketing Cloud
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure system performance and security
- Document technical configurations and provide training to marketing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 5 years, or PhD
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong knowledge of Journey Builder and Marketing Cloud APIs
- Familiarity with CRM platforms including Veeva CRM, Service Cloud, and integration tools like Mulesoft
- Understanding of Salesforce innovations, especially Data Cloud and Agentforce
- Experience applying marketing automation best practices
- Ability to architect scalable solutions for integrations and data workflows
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have
- Hold one or more Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications
- Experience with customer data platforms or cloud-based data architectures
- Exposure to AI-powered features and roadmap developments in Salesforce products
